The 2012 Clive Barnes Foundation Awards finalists have been announced. For his performance in MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA!, Stephen Tyrone Williams has been short-listed along with three other theatre artists and two dance artists.

The awards are given to two talented young professionals, one in the field of theater and one in the field of dance. The winners will be honored at an awards ceremony on Dec. 10 at the Walter Reade Theater, Lincoln Center.

The nominees are judged by a panel of experts in each field. Previous winners include Chase Finlay, Nina Arianda, MJ Rodriguez and Isabella Boylston.

Best Direction - Ruben Santiago-Hudson
Best Lead Actor - James A. Williams

Stephen Tyrone Williams joins the cast of the Off-Broadway revival of MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA!; part three of the SignatureTheatre's focus on South African playwright Athol Fugard with direction by Ruben Santiago-Hudson.

Seven-time Grammy Award winner Bobby McFerrin will provide music for the production.

MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA! runs May 1 - June 10 at The Linney Theatre in the Pershing Square Theatre Complex on 42nd Street in NYC.
